Abstract:
A power transmission apparatus (101) has capacitors (31, 32) that are connected in series between an active electrode (11) and a passive electrode (12). A power receiving apparatus (201) has capacitors (33, 34) that are connected in series between an active electrode (21) and a passive electrode (22). When a capacitance between the active electrodes (11, 21) is represented by Caa, a capacitance between the passive electrodes (12, 22) is represented by Cpp, and reactance values of the capacitors (31, 32, 33, 34) are represented by X1, X2, X3 and X4, respectively, the active electrodes (11, 21), the passive electrodes (12, 22), and the capacitors (31, 32, 33, 34) are set to satisfy the following formulae: Cpp/Caa=X1/X2=X3/X4 and Cpp≥Caa. Consequently, a wireless power transmission system capable of stabilizing operations of a load circuit on the power receiving apparatus side is provided.
