Abstract:
A wireless power transmission system (10) comprises a power transmission unit (11) and a power receiving unit (12). The power transmission unit (11) includes: a first resonant circuit (LC1) that resonates at a predetermined resonant frequency and generates an alternating magnetic field; and a driving circuit (16, Q1 to Q4, R1 to R4) that supplies AC power to the first resonant circuit (LC1) at a predetermined driving frequency. The power receiving unit (12) includes: a second resonant circuit (LC2) that is configured so as to resonate at the driving frequency and interlinked with the magnetic flux of the alternating magnetic field; a power receiving coil (L3) that is magnetically coupled with the second resonant circuit (LC2); and a load (LD) that is not electrically connected with the second resonant circuit (LC2) but electrically connected with the power receiving coil (L3). The resonant frequency is set to be lower than the driving frequency.
