Abstract:
A wireless power transmission system for transmitting wireless power by electromagnetic inductance from a power transmission coil, to which AC power is supplied from an AC power supply circuit of a power transmission device, to a power reception coil of a power reception device set away across a space, and transmitting the AC power from the power reception coil to a load circuit for consumption, wherein: a relay electromagnetic inductance circuit is provided between the AC power supply circuit and the power transmission coil or between the power reception coil and the load circuit; and the relay electromagnetic inductance circuit has a primary-side oscillation circuit including a primary-side relay coil, a secondary-side oscillation circuit including a secondary-side relay coil, and a mutual inductance variation means for varying the mutual inductance between the primary-side relay coil and the secondary-side relay coil. By using the wireless power transmission system, power is supplied to the load in a stable manner when there is a fluctuation in the mutual inductance between the power transmission coil and the power reception coil.
