Title:
WIRELESS RECEIVER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/104615
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To realize a wireless receiver which can provide an increase in reception sensitivity while using an impulse-type UWB. [Solution] A wireless receiver (1) using impulse UWB is provided with: a reception antenna (2) which receives the impulse UWB; a reception unit (3, 4) which amplifies the received impulse UWB and detects the envelope of the impulse UWB; a maximum peak detection unit (8) which detects a maximum value of the envelope; a minimum peak detection unit (9) which detects a minimum value of the envelope; a comparator (5) which obtains signal data from the envelope using an initial threshold value; a baseband unit (6) which measures an error rate of the signal data; a MPU (7) which calculates a correction value on the basis of the error rate; and a computing unit (10, 11) which, on the basis of the maximum value, the minimum value, and the correction value, calculates a correction threshold value and transmits the correction threshold value to the comparator. The wireless receiver (1) is characterized in that the comparator obtains the signal data from the envelope on the basis of the correction threshold value transmitted from the computing unit.
