Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless smart road marker system employing a broadcast technique. The wireless smart road marker system includes: a plurality of road markers installed consecutively at predetermined intervals and grouped into a plurality of groups; a local controller that transmits a control message by means of different communication channels to the marker groups; a central controller that monitors the states of the marker groups and the local controller and provides the control message to all the groups and the local controller, wherein the control message includes information showing a road marker that retransmits the control message, and, upon receipt of the control message, the road marker operates according to a command included in the control message, and a pre-determined road marker from among the plurality of road markers retransmits the control message.
