Abstract:
This wireless station (1) contains a first part (1A) and at least one second part (1B). The second part (1B) can be arranged physically separated from the first part (1A), and is connected via a transmission channel (40) for communication with the first part (1A). The first part (1A) has a bearer termination unit (10) capable of terminating at least one bearer between the upper network and a wireless station (1). The second part (1B) has a physical layer signal processing unit (12) which performs physical layer signal processing. Here, the physical layer signal processing includes transmission channel encoding and encryption of downlink user data relating to a first mobile station of multiple mobile stations that is connected to said second part (1B).
