Abstract:
The purpose of the disclosed technology is to provide a wireless terminal, a wireless station, a wireless communication system, and a wireless communication method, which are capable of starting communication between wireless terminals at a proper timing. The disclosed wireless terminal is provided with a control unit which, after determining that the wireless terminal cannot maintain a first wireless link established between a wireless station and the wireless terminal, allows the wireless terminal to transition to a standby state when an accumulated process time from a time at which any other wireless station than the wireless station is selected to start a process of establishing a second wireless link, or the number of times of occurrence of failure in the process reaches a first threshold value, wherein the control unit does not allow the wireless terminal to transition to the standby state but starts or requests to start communication between wireless terminals according to the quality of the first wireless link or the second wireless link.
