Abstract:
Provided is a wireless transfer system which communicates in a gigahertz band, wherein the wireless transfer system reduces a dead zone and improves a radio wave propagation environment. In the wireless transfer system in which a base station located in a facility and a target apparatus transmit and receive radio waves at frequencies selected from a frequency band that is equal to or higher than 3 GHz and is lower than 6 GHz, the maximum gain of an antenna of the base station is from 5 dBi to 30 dBi, and when there is a dead zone in which the reception intensity is lower by at least 10 dB than the periphery in the facility, an electromagnetic wave reflection device, which includes one or more panels with reflection surfaces each having a size from 10 cm×10 cm to 3.0 m×3.0 m, is placed between the base station and the dead zone so that the center of reflection is at the height of 0.5 m or higher from the bottom of the facility. The sum of the straight-line distance between the antenna of the base station and the electromagnetic wave reflection device, and the straight-line distance between the electromagnetic wave reflection device and the dead zone is from 5.0 m to 300 m.
