Provided is a wireless transmission terminal capable of reducing the number of frames that cannot be normally played due to a service disconnection period, while minimizing the buffer capacity required by the wireless transmission terminal. A wireless video transmission terminal (100) which encodes and wirelessly transmits data to be sequentially played is provided with: a video acquiring unit (1) for acquiring the data to be sequentially played; an encoding unit (21) for generating encoded data by encoding for each frame the data acquired by the video acquiring unit (1) using inter-frame predictive coding; a wireless transmitting-receiving unit (3) for wirelessly transmitting the encoded data; a wireless state determination unit (5) for determining the wireless state of the wireless transmitting-receiving unit (3) and for suspending transmission of the encoded data by the wireless transmitting-receiving unit (3) when a deterioration in the wireless state has been determined; and a reference point designation unit (22) for designating a reference point frame for the inter-frame predictive coding in the encoding unit (21) when transmission of the encoded data by the wireless transmitting-receiving unit (3) is suspended by the wireless state determination unit (5).
