Abstract:
Provided are a wiring board capable of preventing damage by electrostatic discharge without having extra patterns or performing extra work; and a wiring board for a display device. The curved section (22) of a wiring pattern (20) formed on an insulating substrate (11) is chamfered to form an angled section protruding towards a neighboring wiring pattern (20), and two angles (24) having a large angle are formed on the chamfered section (23). As a consequence, the electrical load charged to a wiring pattern (20) by means of static electricity is dispersed by means of the two angles (24) and the strength of the electrical load becomes weaker at the angles (24) because the angle thereof is large. Therefore, the electrostatic discharge towards the neighboring wiring pattern (20) from the chamfered section (23) is less likely to occur and the neighboring wiring pattern (20) is less likely to become damaged.
