Abstract:
A wood column installation structure of the present invention comprises: a rigid first protruding member including a first head part and a first shaft part inserted into a support hole of a cornerstone; and a rigid second protruding member including a second shaft part inserted into an installation hole of the first head part, an upward extending part extending upward from the second shaft part, and a second head part. A base end surface of a wood column is provided with a recess, a flat section, and a rigid hoof member. The recess is formed such that an opening diameter of a lower end is larger than an outer diameter of the lower end of a first outer circumferential surface of the first head part, and the recess covers the first and second protruding members. The flat section is provided further radially outward than the recess, and the hoof member covers a portion of the lower end opening of the recess. In a state where the flat section of the base end surface of the wood column has been placed on an upper surface of the cornerstone, an inner circumferential surface of the recess engages at least a portion of a second outer circumferential surface of the second head part, and a radially inner end of the hoof member engages a lower end of the first outer circumferential surface.
