Title:
WOOD LAMINATE BOARD FOR USE WITH FOOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/099065
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To greatly reduce costs by enabling a thin board to be manufactured even from a soft wood where the soft-wood tree is young and inexpensive, and to do so without reducing the surface properties of the board. To provide a technique that enables low-cost manufacturing of a thin board with excellent strength and waterproof properties, that can be used as a wooden food container without causing any environmental pollution problems. [Solution] The following can be achieved: fabricating a laminate comprising at least 2-4 wood slice single boards which are stacked so that the fiber directions of the thin boards intersect with each other, and making the plurality of wood slice single boards orthogonal to each other and bonding the same using an adhesive; manufacturing a lid for a wooden food container using a method that includes a step for pressure molding the laminate; and manufacturing a lid for the wooden container provided with a container main body and a circumferential overhanging edge thereof.
