Abstract:
A wood screw for building suitable for firmly fixing a hard plate material harder than wood materials to a wood bed, comprising a shaft part (2) having threads (21), a head part (3) having a tool hooking part (31) for screwing the shaft part and larger in diameter than the shaft part (2), and a trumpet-shaped neck part (4) expanding in diameter from the shaft part (2) toward the head part. In the threads (21) of the shaft part, the driving side flank angle thereof on the shaft part tip side is formed larger than the extracting side flank angle thereof on the head part side. A plurality of chevron-shaped ribs (42) having blade-like ridges (43) extending from the shaft part to the head part on the surface of the trumpet-shaped neck part (4) are formed on the trumpet-shaped neck part (4). A flat flange part (32) continuously connected to the trumpet-shaped neck part (4) is formed around the head part (3).
