Abstract:
The invention relates to the machine-tool industry and can be used for manufacturing universal wood-working machines which are used for producing the elements of a block house, for resawing operations and for producing bars, strips etc. The inventive wood-working machine comprises a bed provided with longitudinal guides and dead and stock heads which are mounted thereon and provided with stops for fixing and holding a workpiece on the axis of the machine. Said wood-working machine also comprises a machine slide which is provided with an actuator for moving it and arranged on the longitudinal guides, a head for cylindering the workpiece provided with a rotary actuator for rotating said head and arranged on the machine slide and additional heads each of them being provided with a spindle with cutting tools arranged thereon and a rotary actuator for rotating said tools. The novelty of the invention lies in that the bed is embodied in the form of a triangle prism which is based on one of the lateral faces thereof. One of the inclined lateral faces of said prism is provided with the longitudinal guides on which the machine slide bearing all additional heads with the actuators thereof is arranged.
