Abstract:
A wooden board (As) is formed by aggregately layering and adhesively integrating a plurality of thin wooden pieces (1, 1, … ) that have front/back surfaces that follow a grain direction, the thin wooden pieces (1) being specified by having at least two of a front-to-back thickness (t) of at least 0.05 mm but no more than 0.35 mm, an aspect ratio (d1/d2) as defined by a first length (d1) that is the length in the grain direction/a second length (d2) that is the length in the direction orthogonal to the grain direction of 4–80, and a front/back surface area of no more than 6 cm2 or by having a bulk density of at least 10 kg/m3 but no more than 150 kg/m3 and a front/back surface area of no more than 6 cm2.
