Abstract:

A method of manufacturing bamboo nails (6), comprising the steps of horizontally laying down small bamboo plates (2) obtained by cutting a bamboo material radially from the center axis thereof in a press (3), pressing the small bamboo plates (2) vertically relative to fibers to produce a compressed flat plate (5), and cutting the compressed flat plate (5) in a prism shape, whereby the strengths of wooden nail-like connectors and wooden nails formed of wooden material can be increased.
