Abstract:
Provided is a work attachment which can be stably supported in a folded state, and which is such that damage to a work device cylinder and a link mechanism can be prevented. Also provided is a work machine equipped with said work attachment. A work cylinder (32) and a link mechanism (33) are provided on the upper surface of an arm (27) in a folded state, in such a way that the work cylinder (32) and the link mechanism (33) are positioned between a boom (25) and the tip section of the arm (27). When an inter-boom cylinder (30) and an arm cylinder (31) are in a folded state, the same are positioned above the base end of the arm (27). A ground contact section (27a) is formed at least on a portion of the lower surface of the arm (27), which is in a folded state, said ground contact section (27a) extending over a longitudinal range which is sufficient to support the whole of a work attachment (24).
