Abstract:
A work conveying device comprises a plurality of operating blocks (A, B) connected by rail members (18), branch transfer mechanisms (100) disposed at the intersections of the rail members (18), a trolley (300) of non−self−propelled type movable on the rail members (18) by the driving power of a wire (20), and a table (450) positioned in the vicinity of the operating blocks (A, B) and moving up and down with work placed thereon between the trolley (300) and the operating blocks (A, B). Transfer of work is effected by moving the table (450) up and down and adjusting the level of the table (450) to the level of the trolley (300) or to the level of the operating blocks (A, B). Further, the trolley (300) is provided with a wire gripping mechanism (350) for gripping the wire (20), and work placing plates (326a, 326b) for placing work thereon.
