Abstract:
This work device (1) is provided with a parallel link mechanism (9), an attitude control actuator (10), and a direct acting mechanism (8). The parallel link mechanism (9) links a distal end-side link hub (13) to a basal end-side link hub (12) through three or more sets of link mechanisms (14) such that the attitude is modifiable, and a body to be worked (2) is provided to the distal end-side link hub (13). The direct-acting mechanism (8) moves a work body (3) along the center axis (QA) of the basal end-side link hub (12). The body to be worked (2) is positioned in an internal space (S1) between the basal end-side and the distal end-side link hubs (12, 13). The distance (T) from a spherical surface link center (PB) of the distal end-side link hub (13) to the bottom surface (2a) of the body to be worked (2) is one-half or greater of the distance (L) between the spherical surface link centers (PA, PB).
