Abstract:
The present invention provides a work machine that can achieve an automatic brake keeping function without hindering work. This work machine comprises: a vehicle body that travels; a work device that is supported by the vehicle body; an accelerator operation device that is operated to increase the traveling speed of the vehicle body; a brake operation device that is operated to reduce the traveling speed of the vehicle body; and a controller. The controller executes automatic brake keeping control in which braking force is kept to maintain a travel-stopped state of the vehicle body when the traveling speed of the vehicle body has been reduced to a threshold or lower by operation of the brake operation device, and the keeping of the braking force is cancelled when the accelerator operation device is operated. The controller determines whether or not the work device is in operation, and, when in operation, cancels the automatic brake keeping control.
