Abstract:
Provided is a work machine position information management system that can hold down transmission costs and data management costs in managing the work position of a work machine. With a position information management system (21) for a crane (1), a transmission control unit (22) determines, from the detection results of a work state detection unit (24), whether the crane (1) has started work, and upon determining that work was started, crane (1) position information (position information at the time work started) obtained from a GPS sensor (23a) at that time is sent to a data management unit (26) by a remote communication system (25). The data management unit (26) is configured so as to save the position information at the time the crane (1) starts work, and to output the saved position information in response to a use request.
