Abstract:
This work machine (1) is provided with a parallel link mechanism (9), an orientation control actuator (10), a linear motion mechanism (8), and a rotation mechanism (11). The parallel link mechanism (9) is provided with not less than three sets of link mechanisms (14) which connect a leading-end side link hub 13, in such a manner as to be able to change the orientation thereof, to a base-end side link hub (12). The orientation control actuator (10) actuates the parallel link mechanism (9). The linear motion mechanism (8) moves a work body (3) in the axial direction orthogonal to a center axis (QA) of the base-end side link hub (12). The rotation mechanism (11) is mounted to the leading-end side link hub (13), and rotates a workpiece (2) about a rotation center axis (11a) that is parallel with the moving direction of the linear motion mechanism (8) with the center axis (QA) and a center axis (QB) being located on the same line.
