Abstract:
A work machine gear change controller for improving work efficiency and facilitating
the setting by enabling arbitrary setting of a desired gear change condition
in an automatic gear change mode depending on the situation of the work site. When
a wheel loader is traveling, a settable speed range and setting operation guidance
are displayed in an area (62) of a display (49), and a guidance inquiring whether
the setting is NG or OK is displayed in an area (64). When the traveling speed reaches
a settable speed change, the display is switched to a settable mode. When the operator
depresses a setting switch (23) at a desired timing, a gear change control section
(45) captures the then vehicle speed and speed ratio (or vehicle speed) and stores
an adjustment value in an adjustment value storage section (43) so that the vehicle
speed and speed ratio may be thresholds of gear change control in a normal gear
change control steps (S535 to S545).
