Abstract:

Provided is a work machine (100) or the like that has outstanding workpiece machining productivity and that can improve maintainability and operability. The work machine (100) is equipped with: two fixed modules (M1, M3) and two movable modules (M2, M4) in each of which a principal shaft (11), a principal shaft base (12), a blade base (13), and the like are formed in an integrated manner; and a bed (1) on which these modules are mounted. On the bed (1), the movable modules (M2, M4) are disposed so as to be movable in the Y axis direction, the fixed modules (M1, M3) are fixed to the side opposite the movable modules, and a cutaway section (8) is provided by cutting away the bed (1) on the side of the fixed module (M3). The movable modules (M2, M4) are configured to be movable so that the axial line of the principal shaft (11) of the fixed module (M1) or the axial line of the principal shaft of fixed module (M3) is on a straight line. Moreover, the movable module (M4) can move to a position (P3) opposite the cutaway section (8).
