Abstract:
The disclosed work machine is provided with: an engine; a radiator for cooling engine cooling water; a thermostat, on the path via which the cooling water flows to the radiator, that adjusts said path between fully open and fully closed in accordance with the temperature of the cooling water; a fan device that blows external air to the radiator; an output switch that switches the output of the engine between high and low; a rotational-speed setting unit that sets the rotational speed of the fan device in accordance with the temperature of the cooling water; and a rotational-speed adjustment unit that adjusts the rotational speed of the fan device such that said rotational speed reaches the rotational speed set by the rotational-speed setting unit. Within the cooling-water temperature range in which the thermostat goes to fully open from fully closed, the rotational-speed setting unit sets a lower rotational speed for the fan device when the engine output is set to low via the output switch than when the engine output is set to high via the output switch.
