Abstract:

Provided is a substrate work machine provided with a marking camera (26) used when performing mounting work, a movement machine (22) which moves the marking camera over a base (54), and a cable unit (80) which is connected to a connector (84) disposed on the base and the marking camera, wherein: the state of communication with the marking camera over the cable is verified; and the movement position of the marking camera and the state of communication over the cable when the marking camera has been moved by the movement device are acquired in association with each other. As a result, it becomes possible to determine the position of the marking camera when the state of communication over the cable is poor, and on the basis of the position, it is possible to estimate the deformed section of the cable, that is to say, the damaged section of the cable.
