Abstract:
[Problem] Provided is a walk-behind work machine which is easy to operate. [Solution] A walk-behind work machine 1 includes: a main body 2 provided with at least one front wheel 4, a pair of left and right rear wheels 5, and a work unit 3; a pair of left and right traveling motors 9L, 9R provided at the rear wheels; a handle 6 extending rearward and upward from the main body; at least one of an inclination angle detecting means 41 for detecting the inclination angle of the main body and a downward load detecting means 38 for detecting a downward load applied to the handle; a yaw rate detecting means 37 for detecting a yaw rate; and a control device 10 for drive-controlling the traveling motors. The control device determines whether or not the main body is in a rearward inclined state on the basis of the inclination angle or the downward load. When it is determined that the main body is not in the rearward inclined state, straight traveling control is executed to set a rotational speed difference between the left and right traveling motors so as to reduce the yaw rate, and when it is determined that the main body is in the rearward inclined state, the straight traveling control is not executed.
