Abstract:
Work using a plurality of suction nozzles is executed in a mounting machine 14 by executing suction nozzle 60 replacement between a nozzle station 30 and a mounting head 26. The placement position for suction nozzles in the nozzle station is set such that the distance between a housing unit 78 and a parts camera 29 in the nozzle station is shorter the greater the number of replacements for the suction nozzle in the nozzle station. When the suction nozzle is replaced during mounting work, the suction nozzle mounted on to the mounting head is returned to a placement section corresponding to the set placement position. As a result, the placement position in the nozzle station lines up with the set placement position, the travel distance for the mounting head during nozzle replacement can be shortened, and the time required for nozzle replacement can be reduced.
