Abstract:
A work machine for performing work on a workpiece (2) by means of an end effector (1) mounted on a two-degrees-of-freedom rotary mechanism (3). The workpiece (2) is positioned in one or more axial directions with respect to the end effector (1) by means of a linear positioning mechanism (5), and the rotational position of the workpiece with respect to the end effector (1) is determined by a rotational positioning mechanism (4). When the angle formed by the neutral axis (KA) of the two-degrees-of-freedom rotary mechanism (3) and the rotational center axis (C3) of the rotational positioning mechanism (4) is an inclination angle (θ1), and the maximum value of the bend angle of the two-degrees-of-freedom rotary mechanism (3) is a maximum bend angle (θmax), the inequality 0<θ1≤θmax is satisfied.
