Abstract:
Provided is a work machine capable of regenerating power from return hydraulic oil from a hydraulic actuator, and capable of preventing an increase in drag loss in a hydraulic pump and a regenerative hydraulic motor, and a decrease in the regeneration efficiency of the regenerative hydraulic motor. A controller 100 calculates a required rotational speed of a regenerative hydraulic motor 13 from the volumetric capacity of the regenerative hydraulic motor and the regeneration flow rate of the regenerative hydraulic motor, and calculates a required rotational speed fora first hydraulic pump 15 from the volumetric capacity of the first hydraulic pump and a target assist flow rate for the first hydraulic pump. Said controller 100 sets the larger of the required rotational speed for the regenerative hydraulic motor and the required rotational speed for the first hydraulic pump as the target rotational speed of an electric motor 14.
