Abstract:
A work machine (15) comprising a controller (500) that calculates, on the basis of position information for an arbitrarily set target surface (60), posture information for the work machine (15), and operation information for an operation lever (1), each target speed at which a hydraulic cylinder (5) causes a plurality of work point candidates (8a, 8b) set for the work machine to move along a target surface, and controls the speed of the hydraulic cylinder (5) according to any one target speed of the calculated plurality of target speeds, wherein the controller calculates a candidate point speed (VTab, VTba) occurring for the remaining work point candidates when each of the plurality of work point candidates is caused to move at the corresponding target speed (VTa, VTb), selects the speed, among the plurality of candidate point speeds, at which penetration of the target surface is least likely, and controls the hydraulic cylinder according to the target speed of the work point candidate relating to the selected candidate point speed.
