Abstract:
This work machine (1) enables easy setting of torque and the like in accordance with an operation of the work machine. The work machine (1) is provided with: a machine body (2); an engine (60) provided to the machine body (2); a motor/generator which operates as a motor to perform assist operation for assisting driving of the engine (60) and which operates as a generator (63) by motive power of the engine (60) so as to perform power generating operation for generating electric power; a battery (66) for storing electric power generated by the motor/generator; an acceleration sensor capable of measuring the acceleration of the machine body (2); and a control device for performing setting of either the assist operation or the power generating operation in accordance with the acceleration of the machine body (2) measured by the acceleration sensor.
