Abstract:
This work machine is provided with: a measurement sensor that measures a surface position of an object around the work machine as three-dimensional point group information having a plurality of layers in a vertical direction; and an object detection device that detects a detection target object around the work machine on the basis of the information from the measurement sensor. The object detection device: obtains the three-dimensional point group information measured by the measurement sensor; detects, with respect to a plurality of pieces of point data constituting the three-dimensional point group information, the point data measured for a microparticle, on the basis of a distance relationship of the point data of vertically adjacent layers from the measurement sensor and variation in difference in distance; deletes the point data detected as the microparticle from the three-dimensional point group information; and detects an object therearound on the basis of the three-dimensional point group information from which the point data of the microparticle has been deleted. This enables highly accurate detection of the detection target object.
