Abstract:
Provided is a work machine which is capable of reducing energy consumption and preventing an unintended machine operation. The work machine (1) is equipped with a controller (2), a drive source (3), a controller switch (4) to which an on operation and an off operation are assigned, a lock operation member (5) to which a lock operation and a lock-release operation for respectively disabling and enabling a lever operation are assigned, and a drive source switch (6) to which a start operation and a stop operation for respectively starting and stopping the drive source (3) are assigned. When startup has been performed on the basis of the on operation assigned to the controller switch (4), the controller (2) starts the drive source (3) when it is determined that the lock operation member (5) has been instructed to perform the lock-release operation and the drive source switch (6) has been instructed to perform the start operation, and withholds starting the drive source (3) when it is determined that the lock-release operation or start operation has not been assigned.
