Abstract:
Provided is a work machine (1) capable of preventing cavitation more effectively. The work machine (1) comprises a work apparatus, a hydraulic pump (4) of a variable capacity type, a hydraulic actuator (5), an attitude detector (61S, 63S), a control valve (6), an operating device (7), an operation detector (7S), and a controller (2). The controller 2 determines whether a work operation detected by the operation detector (7S) is a low-pressure operation on the basis of attitude information acquired by the attitude detector (61S, 63S), and increases the pump capacity of the hydraulic pump (4) in response to determining that the work operation is a low-pressure operation.
