Abstract:
A work machine (1) comprises: an electric motor (9); a work device that is driven using power from the electric motor (9); an operation device (5) that operates the work device; an operation lock device (5c) capable of switching between a permission position at which the operation of the work device by the operation device (5) is permitted and a prohibition position at which the operation is prohibited; a cooler (35, 37) having an electric cooling fan (35a, 37a); a temperature detection device (46, 47) that detects a cooled object temperature (T) that is the temperature of an object to be cooled by the cooler (35, 37); and a control device (7) that controls a fan rotation speed (FS) that is the rotation speed of the cooling fan (35a, 37a) in accordance with the cooled object temperature (T) detected by the temperature detection device (46, 47). The control device (7) changes the characteristics of the fan rotation speed (FS) with respect to the cooled object temperature (T), depending on whether the operation lock device (5c) is in the permission position or the prohibition position.
