Abstract:
When a lift (16) is being lifted, a lifting guide (28) causes urging force of urging
means (18) to act on the lift (16), causing the lift (16) to move in the direction
opposite the direction (A) in which a hanger (12) moves. Then, irrespective
of the relative speeds between the hanger (12) and a self-propelled lifting platform
car (14), a synchronous bar (26) of the lift (16) approaches the hanger (12) and
reliably and softly comes into contact with a front surface (12a) of the hanger
(12), which front surface (12a) is located on the front side in the movement direction
of the hanger (12), and as a result, the hanger (12) and the platform car (14) are
synchronized with each other. This means that, because the synchronous bar
(26) is not subjected to an excessive impact, the synchronous bar (26) and portions
in its periphery do not require undue strength. As a consequence, the platform
car (14) does not become large in size and heavy in weight. Further, acceleration,
retardation, and a quick stop of the platform car (14) are made easier.
