Provided is a work support system including: a display terminal (200) that displays a flowchart indicating a work procedure; and a work support device (100). The work support device (100) includes: a work-procedure management unit (101) that manages work procedure data regarding work procedures; a worker-information management unit (102) that manages worker information regarding workers; a flowchart-data generation unit (104) that generates flowchart data for displaying a flowchart indicating a work procedure, on the basis of the work procedure data; a communication unit (105) that sends the flowchart data to the display terminal (200); and a flowchart-operation-information receiving unit (103) that acquires flowchart operation information indicating an operation by a worker in relation to the flowchart displayed on the display terminal (200). The work-procedure management unit (101) updates the work procedure data on the basis of the worker information about the worker who has performed the operation in relation to the flowchart and on the basis of the flowchart operation information.
