Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a work vehicle autonomous travel device for, when a work vehicle is being caused to autonomously travel along a target travel route, enabling efficiently carrying out a monitoring of an obstacle according to the travel situation of the work vehicle on the target travel route while reducing power consumption by an obstacle sensor. Provided is a work vehicle autonomous travel device comprising: an autonomous travel control part 18 for acquiring position information by a satellite positioning system 21 and causing a work vehicle 1 to travel autonomously along a target travel route; a forward obstacle sensor 101; an aft obstacle sensor 102; a control part 107 for obstacle for carrying out an obstacle sensing process for sensing an obstacle on the basis of sensing information of the forward obstacle sensor 101 or the aft obstacle sensor 102; and a sensor switch control part 110 for switching each of the forward obstacle sensor 101 and the aft obstacle sensor 102 between an operation state and an interrupt state according to the travel situation of the work vehicle 1 on the target travel route.
