Abstract:
Disclosed are a work vehicle and a work vehicle control method capable of accurately controlling the absorption torque regardless of individual differences in hydraulic pumps. A control unit calculates a target absorption torque of a hydraulic pump at which the hydraulic pump absorption torque and the engine output torque match the target matching rotation speed of the engine. The control unit refers to command data and calculates a command current value corresponding to the target absorption torque. The control unit outputs a command signal of the calculated value to a pump control device. Further, the control unit calculates the absorption torque of the hydraulic pump at calibration points (P1-P3) at which there is an equilibrium state in which the hydraulic pump absorption horsepower and the engine output horsepower match. The control unit acquires calibration information containing the calculated hydraulic pump absorption torque and the command current value outputted to the pump control valve in an equilibrium state. The control unit calibrates the command data on the basis of this calibration information.
