Abstract:

In the present invention, a work vehicle is provided with the following: an engine; a variable capacity-type hydraulic pump; a hydraulic motor; an exhaust processing device; and a controller. The variable capacity-type hydraulic pump is driven by the engine. The variable capacity-type hydraulic pump can change the discharge direction of a hydraulic fluid. The drive direction of the hydraulic motor is changed in the forward direction and the backward direction in accordance with the discharge direction of the hydraulic fluid from the variable capacity-type hydraulic pump. The exhaust processing device processes the exhaust from the engine. When regenerating the exhaust processing device, the controller increases the rotation speed of the engine to at least a prescribed first rotation speed (S6), and switches the discharge direction of the variable capacity-type hydraulic pump to a neutral state (S5).
