The controller (100) of this work vehicle vicinity monitoring system comprises: an overhead image synthesis unit (110) that generates overhead image information for displaying an overhead image of a work vehicle and the vicinity thereof on a display device; a display control unit (140) that displays, on the same screen of a monitor (50), a first image in which a mark indicating a target object detected by radar devices (21-28) is superimposed on the overhead image and a second image captured by imaging devices (11-16); a warning issuing unit (150) that issues, as a warning, a first warning in which an area where a mark is present is differentiated from areas where a mark is not present within the first image and/or a second warning in which a sound is issued to indicate the presence of a target object; and a warning cancellation unit (160) that, on the basis of a warning cancellation signal from a warning cancellation switch (53), cancels warnings in accordance with a cancellation order based on positions where a target object is present.
