Abstract:
A battery-powered forklift (1) is provided with a battery (30) and a travel-use electric motor (50), and the travel-use electric motor (50) is driven by power supplied from the battery (30). The battery-powered forklift (1) comprises the following: a charging terminal that is installed on the exterior of the forklift and to which a power-supplying terminal provided to a charging device (2) that communicates with the battery-powered forklift (1) is connected during charging of the battery (30); a communicating terminal to which a communicating terminal which enables the charging device (2) to communicate with the battery-powered forklift (1) is connected during charging of the battery (30); and a vehicle-mounted control device (60) for controlling the battery-powered forklift (1) and also controlling the charging device (2) via the communicating terminal during charging of the battery (30).
