Abstract:
A production line is prevented from stopping due to a delay in work performed by a worker. A work wait prediction device that is one embodiment of the present disclosure is a device for predicting a wait in work, the device comprising a control unit, wherein a work object that is the object of the work is transported to a later step in accordance with an instruction from a worker, and the control unit acquires positioning information pertaining to the work object and predicts whether a wait will occur in each step on the basis of the positioning information and a reference work amount for the work on each work object in each step.
