Abstract:
Provided is a working device using a parallel link mechanism, one unit of which is capable of performing multiple tasks at high speed and with high accuracy, thereby achieving highly efficient work. The working device (1) using the parallel link mechanism comprises: the parallel link mechanism (10) for supporting end-effectors (4, 5) in a posture-changeable manner; and a posture-control actuator (11) for manipulating the parallel link mechanism (10). The parallel link mechanism (10) is constructed by connecting a tip-side link hub (13) to a base-side link hub (12) in a posture-changeable manner via three or more sets of link mechanisms (14). As the end-effectors (4, 5), one end-effector (4) for performing a main task on a workpiece (3) and one or multiple sub-end-effectors (5) for performing ancillary tasks on the workpiece (3) are attached to the tip-side link hub (13).
