Abstract:
A shovel according to an embodiment of the present invention has: a lower traveling body (1); an upper rotating body (3) rotatably disposed on the lower traveling body (1); an arm (5); a boom (6) having one end connected to the upper rotating body (3) and having the other end connected to the arm (5); an operator's seat (10) mounted at the front left of the rotating frame (3A); an engine (11) disposed behind the operator's seat (10); a fuel tank (20) disposed behind the engine (11); and a counterweight (30) disposed behind the fuel tank (20). The fuel tank (20) is disposed in a recess (31) formed in the counterweight (30).
