Abstract:
Provided is a working machine with which it is possible to prevent an on-lock becoming effective unintentionally, thereby causing an on-position to be maintained, when an operator turns an operating portion to the on-position. This working machine comprises a housing (2), a motor (3) accommodated in the housing (2), an operating portion (4) which is a portion of the housing (2), is capable of moving between an on-position and an off-position, allows the motor (3) to be driven when in the on-position, and stops the motor (3) when in the off-position, and an on-lock means (5) which is supported in such a way as to be capable of moving in the housing (2) between an on-lock position causing the operating portion (4) to be maintained in the on-position, and an on-lock released position in which the operating portion on-lock is released, wherein at least a portion of the on-lock means (5) is accommodated inside the housing (2) when the operating portion (4) is in the off-position, and is positioned outside the housing (2) when the operating portion (4) is in the on-position.
