Abstract:
This working medium for a refrigeration cycle contains (A) 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene, (B) difluoromethane, and (C) a haloalkane (excluding cases of C1-4 haloalkanes in which all of the halogen atoms are fluorine) as a disproportionation-suppressing agent. When the mass ratio compositions of components (A) through (C) are represented in a three-component composition diagram using triangular coordinates, the composition of the working medium is within the range of a composition corresponding to a synthesis region configured from: a first overlap region, in which a region a (where component (A) is greater than 0% by mass and no more than 65% by mass) and a region b (where component (B) is greater than 0% by mass and no more than 30% by mass) overlap; and a second overlap region, in which a region c (where component (C) is at least 20% by mass and less than 100% by mass) and the region b overlap.
