Abstract:
A workpiece clamping device 10 comprising: a positioning device 11 detachably sandwiching a workpiece member to position the workpiece member; and a base 12 to which the positioning device 11 is attached. The positioning device 11 comprises: two supporting rotation shafts 13a, 13b installed upright at a predetermined interval on the base 12; and a parallel four-bar linkage 14 forming a parallelogram with two rotating links 15a, 15b and two connecting links 16a, 16b. The parallel four-bar linkage 14 is configured such that: the two rotating links 15a, 15b are rotatably supported by the two supporting rotation shafts 13a, 13b respectively; and the two connecting links 16a, 16b are approachable and separable with respect to each other according to rotation of the two rotating links 15a, 15b, and provided with a workpiece sandwiching means coordinating with operation of the connecting links 16a, 16b, to sandwich the workpiece member when the two connecting links 16a, 16b approaches each other.
