Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a workpiece clamping device capable of clamping in which a workpiece clamping surface conforms to a prescribed position on a workpiece upper surface even if the workpiece upper surface is inclined with respect to the workpiece clamping surface. [Solution] A workpiece clamping device 1 comprises a magnetic chuck 5 that has: a support rod part 6 which is capable of reciprocation in a first axis L1 direction; a rotating arm part 20, the base end of which in a second axis L2 direction is rotatably joined to the tip end of the support rod part by a first joint part 10; and a chuck unit 50, the base end of which in a third axis L3 direction is rotatably joined to the tip end of the rotating arm part by a second joint part 40, and which clamps a workpiece 110 with a magnetic force. The chuck unit has a workpiece clamping surface 48a at the tip end of a housing 51. The first and second joint parts have first and second center points S1, S2. The support rod part and the rotating arm part are rotatable with respect to each other about the first center point S1. The rotating arm part and the chuck unit are rotatable with respect to each other about the second center point S2.
